Tired of slow mining decisions?
And frustrated that YOU feel undervalued?
You work harder. You explain more. You send more data.
But customers, investors, teams, and stakeholders still hesitate.
If your project value is 10, but your message communicates a 6, stakeholders will value it as a 6.
Sexy CopyMining™ helps you turn mining complexity into stories stakeholders understand, remember, and trust.
So YOU move faster on projects, sales, investments, and stakeholder alignment.
Slow Mining is Expensive.
Mining is already slow.
- Projects are slow.
- Permits are slow.
- Procurement is slow.
- Funding is slow.
- Stakeholder alignment is slow.
- Even internal decisions are slow.
Is YOUR MESSAGE making good mining projects move slower than they should?
People don’t buy minerals or commodities.
They buy the words that make those minerals valuable, credible, urgent, and trusted.
Not every question applies to you — but read them all.
If you are a senior mining executive…
- Do you feel your teams understand the technical facts, but still take too long to align around decisions?
- Do you feel your board, managers, consultants, lawyers, ESG teams, community teams, or operational teams are not always speaking the same language?
- Do you spend too much time explaining the same strategic message again and again?
- Do your stakeholder presentations inform people, but fail to move them toward trust, alignment, or action?
- Do communities, regulators, public authorities, or partners ask for more explanations because the message is not landing clearly enough?
- Do your internal reports contain the right information, but still fail to create the urgency needed for execution?
- Do you wish your speeches, panels, interviews, and public messages made you look clearer, more strategic, and more persuasive as a leader?
If you answer “Yes” to at least THREE of the questions, …then you need better stakeholder storytelling.
If you sell products or services to mining companies…
- Do you feel your prospects take too long to understand why your mining product, technology, equipment, software, energy solution, or service really matters?
- Do you send emails that explain your solution clearly, but still do not generate enough replies, meetings, or next steps?
- Do your brochures, sell sheets, or landing pages describe what you do but fail to create a sense of urgency for the buyer?
- Do you feel that major mines see you as “another supplier” instead of a strategic solution to a painful operational problem?
- Do you wish your case studies made your value easier to believe, remember, and defend internally?
- Do you need better sales scripts so your team can explain value faster, handle objections more effectively, and reduce decision-making friction?
If you answer “Yes” to at least TWO of the questions, …then you need better sales storytelling.
If you are building or financing a junior mining project…
- Do you feel investors ask for more data, more explanations, more meetings, and more comfort — but still hesitate?
- Do you struggle to turn geology, risk, upside, jurisdiction, timing, and optionality into a story investors understand quickly?
- Do you feel your investor deck is technically correct, but not emotionally compelling enough to create momentum?
- Do you worry that your project is being judged before investors truly understand its hidden value?
- Do you feel your emails to investors are too easy to ignore?
- Do you wish your mining story sounded less like a technical report and more like an investable opportunity?
If you answer “Yes” to at least TWO of the questions, …then you need better investment storytelling.
If you are a mining pro, consultant, expert or journalist…
- Do you know you have valuable expertise, but struggle to turn it into messages people remember?
- Do you feel your LinkedIn profile, posts, articles, or presentations do not fully reflect your authority?
- Do you want to become more visible, more trusted, and more influential in the mining sector?
- Do you feel that your technical knowledge deserves more recognition, but your communication style is holding it back?
- Do you want to learn written persuasion techniques so your reports, proposals, emails, presentations, and posts create stronger professional opportunities?
- Want to interview a mining executive but can't seem to get them to pay attention to you?
- Trying to convince a mining company to sponsor your event but they always give you the runaround?
If you answer “Yes” to at least TWO of these questions, …then you need better personal storytelling.
The deeper question
- Ir may not be your geology.
- It may not be your technology.
- It may not be your project.
- It may not be your product.
- It may not be your expertise.
- It may be the way your expertise is being communicated.
Your message may be creating decision friction.
And in mining, decision friction is expensive.
- It slows sales.
- It delays funding.
- It weakens stakeholder trust.
- It blocks internal alignment.
- It makes good projects look less urgent than they really are.
Mining stakeholders need signals, not noise.
Mining innovation leader Pamela Antonioli, Manager of the Peru Mining Innovation Hub, was asked what professional skill is most critical for mining executives.
Her answer was simple — mining professionals must be able to:
- explain complex problems to non-miners,
- translate projects into business cases,
- communicate effectively with senior management,
- summarize complexity without losing meaning.
- Miners are highly technical and often communicate through large volumes of numbers and data.
- The problem is that the signal gets buried under the noise.
- The challenge is not to sound more technical.
- The challenge is to be understood.
Why is communication now a mining risk?
Every mining project depends on decisions made by other people.
Investors. Regulators. Communities. Customers. Journalists. Politicians.
Copywriting was born in the late nineteenth century to solve a simple problem:
- How do you persuade someone to act when they cannot physically inspect what you are selling?
Mining is the ultimate storytelling industry
The Stakeholder Paradigm Shift
From Data to Trust
- from physical mail to email and newsletters
- from in-person networking to social media,
- from television to YouTube,
- from radio to podcasts,
- and from newspapers to blogs.
The real change is not the media.
The real change is how people decide.
We moved:
- from instinct → to neuroscience
- from broadcasting → to engagement
- from information → to trust
- from data → to stories
Data informs. Stories persuade.
Trust moves decisions.
Mining is the ultimate storytelling industry.
Investors cannot touch your orebody.
Regulators cannot see your future mine.
Communities cannot experience your future benefits.
Customers cannot inspect your future production.
They can only evaluate your story.
Communication is not decoration. It is project infrastructure.
I'm a mining insider who discovered the power of storytelling.
For almost 40 years I have worked across mining, geology, energy, critical minerals, investment, and industrial transformation on five continents.
I have seen excellent mining projects delayed, misunderstood, or undervalued — not because the geology was wrong, not because the engineering was weak, not because the project had no value, but because the story was never told in a way decision-makers could understand, remember, and trust.
After decades in mining, I began studying copywriting, storytelling, persuasion, neuromarketing, sales psychology, and content marketing. The tools were different — the human brain was the same.
